Industry and Innovation Precinct

In 2013, the Department of Business and Innovation in conjunction with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, is pleased to offer companies working on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) technologies/innovations, an opportunity to showcase their capabilities to race fans and inspire the next generation in a new INNOVATION AND INDUSTRY PRECINCT.

As part of the Australian Automotive week, the new Innovation and Industry Precinct will showcase leading technology and innovation from Victoria’s automotive, defence and advanced manufacturing industries, as well as highlighting the exciting career paths and opportunities available to our next generation. The Precinct will comprise two adjacent exhibition spaces featuring exciting interactive displays: the Driving Science, Driving the Future Education Expo and the Driving Business Automotive Expo.

Driving Science, Driving the Future Education Expo will engage students, teachers and event patrons alike in learning about career pathways within STEM aligned fields whilst providing a networking platform for industry. The Driving Business Automotive Expo will offer companies the opportunity to showcase Australian ingenuity and its capabilities in designing, engineering and manufacturing global vehicles.
