Nissan Skyline driver Carey McMahon swept his way through the Group A&C Touring Car Revival races at the 2012 Formula 1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix. In Sunday’s shortened six-lap race, McMahon simply began where he left off on Saturday, taking maximum advantage of pole position and streaking away from the start, eventually winning by 13.58 seconds ahead of Tony Stapleton (Holden Commodore TWR).

Luke Ellery (Skyline) was third, after finishing second behind McMahon in the opener. “I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend,” said McMahon. "The car didn’t miss a beat and I stayed out of trouble the whole time, so all in all I am very happy. And to win in front of a huge Sunday F1 crowd is just fantastic.”
