The lightweight, high performance, pure-bred Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars will return to Albert Park in 2015 in a fast and exciting exhibition of speed on track. All drivers in will be competing in this closely contested category for points toward the Australian Championship at the picturesque Albert Park circuit.

Historic Demonstration

The important history of motorsport in Australia and around the world will be on display both on-track and off-track with the Shannons Historic Demonstration. Ffeaturing 60 vintage racing cars across the various eras of motorsport it is a true visual feast of exotic race cars, with some extra special machinery not usually seen by the public. When not on-track across the four days of the event, you can visit the Shannons Historic Demonstration paddock to see these cars up close and personal and marvel at how these classic race cars were once made.

The Ultimate Speed Comparison is where an F1 car is pitted against a High Performance Race Car and Mercedes-Benz road car in a test of speed and driver skill.

The Ultimate Speed Comparison is one of the most thrilling on track activities which uniquely demonstrates the sheer speed of a Formula 1 car in comparison with a High Performance Race Car and a standard road car will be certainly entertaining to the crowd.
