Street Artists

Kitt Bennett is a Melbourne based artist, specialising in figurative illustration and large scale murals. His background in 2D animation, fine line drawing and comic book illustration, enables a playful aesthetic to come through in all his work. His style is usually devoid of straight lines and his figures are often contorted in fluid shapes to convey motion vividly. Kitt Bennett is interested in the interconnected nature of the universe. Kit’s work is drawn out of inspiration from his surrounds, creating detailed images that become repeated patterns and fractal images made up of the objects that surround his subjects.

Resio is a graffer from Melbourne, still in his early youth and super talented, he is already painting with all the big boys and making a name for himself. Incredible talent is displayed through his incorporation of intense street compositions, amazingly realistic imagery and masterful graphic designs. Weaving these all together in a one man collaboration piece after piece sets Resio apart from what you’d expect to achieve with multiple artists.

Melbourne based Justine McAllister is an illustrator, artist and muralist. Specialising in large-scale murals and digital illustration, her pieces are bold, playful and almost always centred around a sense of a character. After studying Fine Art at the Victorian College of the arts, Justine transitioned into the world of illustration which led her to produce work for client based projects, advertising, private commission and large scale mural jobs. Most recently, Justine’s works are an amalgamation of her Fine Art background intertwined with aesthetics inspired from pop culture, vintage illustration, comic books and animation.

Cam Scale is a Melbourne based artist. His practice extends from murals and graffiti to digital and canvas, working with several mediums mostly aerosol, oil and acrylic. Scales’s artistic goal is to capture what surround him, in a recent solo exhibition ‘State of Mind’ focused in on the portraits of people, that from the outside seem diabolically opposed, but somehow come together to create the complex ecosystem that makes Melbourne street art thrive. From vandals, to graffiti cleaners, to collectors and artists, his work explores the complexities and characters that combine to make Melbourne the number one destination in the world to view high quality contemporary street art.
