It’s easy to travel to the Grand Prix on Melbourne’s public transport network with trains, trams and buses providing frequent services. For up to the minute train, tram and bus information visit ptv.vic.gov.au or call 1800 800 007.
If using any other public transport service besides the free shuttle trams, patrons must buy a valid ticket for travel. Tickets are available from the Melbourne Visitor Centre at Federation Square, Premium Stations, retail outlets and ticket machines at train stations.

Metropolitan
Use metropolitan or regional train services to Southern Cross or Flinders Street stations to catch one of the free shuttle trams running direct to the circuit. Visit the Public Transport Victoria website: www.ptv.vic.gov.au for more maps and timetables.

Trams
Free trams for Grand Prix ticket holders operate from Swanston Street and Spencer Street on all four days of the 2013 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix. There are three different tram routes servicing all gates at the circuit.
Light Rail GP Express
Spencer Street (Cnr Collins Street) to Gates 1 & 2- Thursday: Trams will run as per usual schedule.
- Friday: Peak Times: 2-3 minute intervals.
- Saturday & Sunday: Peak Times: 1-2 minute intervals.
Clarendon Street GP Express
Spencer Street (Cnr Collins Street) to Gates 3 & 4- Thursday: Trams will run as per usual schedule.
- Friday: Peak Times: 2-3 minute intervals.
- Saturday & Sunday: 2-4 minute intervals.
St Kilda Road GP Shuttle
Swanston Street (outside Federation Square) to Gates 5, 8, 9, & 10- Thursday: Trams will run as per usual schedule.
- Friday: Peak Times: 2-3 minute intervals.
- Saturday & Sunday: Peak Times: 1 minute intervals.
NOTE: Normal tram fares apply on other tram routes that operate passed the Circuit. The Light Rail GP Express and Clarendon Street GP Express will not stop in both directions between Spencer Street and the Circuit on Saturday and Sunday. (NB: This includes the stop at Crown Casino)

Bus
Metropolitan Bus Service
Some bus services will take you to bus stops close to the Circuit, whilst other services will take you to the City, where you can catch the tram services to the Circuit (free tram for GP Ticket holders).If using any other public transport service besides the free shuttle trams, patrons must buy a valid ticket for travel.

Grand Prix Bus Services
A free shuttle bus will operate between Crown Casino (Clarendon Street entrance) and Gate 1 at peak times during the morning and afternoon. Detailed timetable will be finalised in January 2013.
The Party continues at The West End at Crown. Don’t miss St Pat’s Day Sunday 17 Mar at The West End.
A shuttle bus will operate between Gate 1 and the Arts Centre during the following times on each day of the 2013 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix. Tickets cost $5 per person.

Car
The best thing to do is leave the car at home!
Park in one of the 70,000 car spaces in the City and catch the FREE GP EXPRESS TRAM SERVICES to the Circuit.
NO PUBLIC PARKING AT THE CIRCUIT.
Restricted Parking
Grand Prix Patrons (non residents) will NOT be permitted to park close to Albert Park. Special Permits will be required to enter selected residential areas near the Grand Prix Circuit. ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES WILL BE SUBJECT TO HEAVY FINES AND/OR TOWAWAYS. Access will be maintained to local shops and businesses. Businesses will be trading as usual for the four days of the event. -

Designated bays are provided for limousines in each of the taxi ranks above except at Gate 1 where a specific rank is provided.

Travel to the Grand Prix by helicopter! For charter prices please call Professional Helicopter Services on (03) 9580 7433.
Private helicopters can land at the Grand Prix at the helipad near Gate 10. Landing fees apply and the following form must be filled out and provided to Professional Helicopter Services.

Bicycle
Bicycle parking racks will be available at Gates 1, 2, 3, 5 & 10. Bicycles will be parked at rider’s own risk.

Disability Services
People with a disability may catch a train to Southern Cross Station (Spencer Street) or park in the car parks in the City and catch a FREE wheelchair accessible bus from Southern Cross Station (Spencer Street/Collins Street extension entrance) to the Circuit.
Patrons will be dropped off at the gate of their choice (except Gate 8) and can link up with the FREE internal disability Shuttle Service.

Gate Information
- Circuit entry gates will open at 10.30am on all four days of the Grand Prix.
- On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the event, all circuit gates will close at 8pm, following the conclusion of track activity at 7pm.
- On Sunday gates will close at approximately 9.00pm Following the Nitro Circus Live performance.
- There will be bag checks at each gate, please have your bags ready.
- Gate 8 is NOT wheelchair accessible

Disability Services will be available at Gate 1 during the event. This is to assist with any enquiries relating to accessibility, including shuttle bus bookings, wheelchair hire and other event information and brochures.

Tickets
General Admission Platforms
Four General Admission viewing platforms for use by all patrons with a disability and their carers are located at Turn 3 (Gate 2), Turn 5 (Gate 3 & 4), Turn 12 (Gate 9) and Turn 14 (Gate 10). All will be clearly signed with staff in attendance and are on a first come first served basis.
GA Premium areas at turns 5 and 15 are accessible and have viewing areas for patrons with a disability.
For patrons wishing to watch Nitro Circus Live in the Action Zone there is also a General Admission Platform for patrons with a disability.

Grandstands

Companion Card / Carer Card
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) is affiliated with the Companion/Carer Card to ensure all patrons of the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix have full and equal access to the event. When the holder of a Companion/Carer Card purchases a ticket to the event, a second ticket will be issued for their companion at no cost or at a reduced rate (subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Companion/Carer Card).

Public Transport
Public transport is the best way to get to the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix. Accessible transport will be available for passengers with special needs.
FREE wheelchair accessible buses will operate from Southern Cross Station (Spencer Street, Collins Street extension entrance) to Gates 1, 2, 4, 5, 9 and 10. For further information on this shuttle service, please phone Melbourne Bus Link on (03) 9362 8600.
Note: Regular return trips for this service will be available from the drop-off locations specified.
Travel on trams between the City and the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix is free for event ticket holders. Low-floor trams operate on most services on the light rail Grand Prix express.

Circuit Transport
FREE wheelchair accessible vehicles will operate within the circuit. These vehicles are available for patrons with limited mobility and can transport up to four people, including one wheelchair passenger. Priority will be given to patrons who pre-book the service by calling Wheelaway on 1800 133 320. There are 16 designated shuttle bus stops that are clearly signed, please see map in the above brochure for locations.

Infield Access
Access to the infield of the circuit for mobility impaired patrons is via the FREE wheelchair accessible vehicles or through the two tunnels under the track shown on the map in above brochure. Seek assistance from security personnel on site.

Travellers Aid Access Service
Travellers Aid is a friendly and professional service offering support workers to assist people with disabilities and older people with personal care needs. Travellers Aid is centrally located at Flinders Street Station (within the ticketed barrier area, between platforms 9 and 10) and at Southern Cross Station (under the Bourke Street Bridge, opposite Luggage Hall). The Community Information Guide is intended to provide residents & businesses potentially effected by the event with a range of information on the event and how normal services in the area will be conducted.
A Community Relations Office will be established in Albert Park adjacent to Gate 1 near the Middle Park Station underpass in the lead up to the event. This is to assist with any community related matters and for the distribution of Local Access Permits to eligible residents and businesses.

One of the most popular attractions returns again in 2013 with the Royal Australian Air Force Roulette aerial displays and F/A-18 fly-overs. Flying in formation at speeds of up to 590km per hour in the skies above Albert Park, the spectacular precision flying and aerobatics of the RAAF Roulettes will again thrill race goers on all days of the event. AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE
With an array of interactive displays, the Australian Defence Force provides race goers with a real insight into the people and purpose behind the Armed Forces. In 2013 Team Army will bring back to the Action Zone the Project Digger and Armygeddon vehicles, and the opportunity to try out some cool equipment.
The Australian Defence Force Band, the Rising Suns, will be rocking the Golf Course every day of the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix. With their very own live stage, the Rising Sun’s classic rock show will provide the perfect sound track to a day on the Golf Course.

There are baby change facilities located in most permanent toilet blocks within Albert Park.
BAGJUMP FREEDROP EXPERIENCE
The team from Bagjump are back in the Action Zone! Not for the faint hearted, Bagjump is like bungee jumping without the cord into a giant 15m pillow of air. Race goers can participate every day of the event for FREE from 8m and 10m heights plus watch the experts perform Bagjump Freedrop from 30 meters in the air!
BARS
There are a variety of bar options around the circuit. Refer to the Circuit Map for locations, designated with a food & beverage symbol.
All public bars will open 10.30am to 7pm, and will accept CASH PAYMENTS ONLY.
BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR
A Behind the Scenes Tour will be conducted on Thursday, March 14, for GP Advantage Club ticketholders ONLY.
This tour will commence from Gate 1 at 8am (Gate 1 will be opened early to accommodate these patrons).
Patrons will have access to Gate1 merchandise area, before congregating under overpass 1 for track access to Pit Lane Walk.
Patrons will proceed down Pit Lane, exiting either before or after the V8 Garages.
Patrons will make their way to the V8 village area, where a free breakfast will be offered, along with driver interviews, signings and video footage.
GP Advantage patrons can access the Paddock Club viewing deck with their GP Advantage Pass on Thursday ONLY, as well as attending the Thursday afternoon Pit Lane Walk.
The tour is expected to conclude at 10.30am, when all event gates will open.

CAMERAS/RECORDING EQUIPMENT
A patron cannot make, create, store, record, transmit, broadcast, reproduce or use (or authorise such) any form of recording or image, and must not store, record, transmit, reproduce or use any data, of at or in relation to the Event (including of cars, drivers, teams, persons or activities present or situated within Albert Park) for any form of public advertisement, display, commercial gain or for any other purpose (except for the private enjoyment of the person making the recording, data or image) except with the prior written permission of AGPC and/or Formula One World Championship Limited.
It is forbidden to take into Albert Park any equipment that may enable a person to do the aforementioned acts. This would include audio recorders and digital video equipment.
Filming and sound recording is strictly prohibited in the Paddock Club and Pit Lane.
CARSALES.COM.AU AUTOGRAPH STAGE
Located in V8 Village (Grid Ref: O12), the Autograph Stage is the only destination to meet the kings of speed at the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix. Daily signing sessions will be open to all fans with the stars of F1 appearing on Thursday and V8 Supercar drivers, legends of motorsport, Nitro Circus performers and of course our gorgeous Grid Girls appearing throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
For schedules, changes/alterations, please check the board displayed at the stage each day, watch GPTV, listen to GP Radio 99.7FM or check for times at one of the many Customer Service Booths.
CHAIRS
Any structure or item that may be used to erect a structure, or which is capable of supporting the weight of a person including, without limitation, any chairs, lounges, benches or stools (other than a canvas or similar material director’s folding chair or folding stool); are NOT permitted to be brought into the Circuit.

CHARITY – AUSTRALIAN MOTOR SPORT FOUNDATION (AMSF)
The official charity for the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix is the Australian Motor Sport Foundation (AMSF)
AMSF was established in 2001 by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS), the governing body of motorsport in Australia.
The aim of the AMSF is to help talented young Australian drivers reach the pinnacle of motorsport in their chosen category and raise Australia’s profile on the world stage.
The AMSF supports the career progression of young Australian drivers through financial assistance, and is actively involved in the development and management of many young drivers.
The Foundation also supports a number of other important sporting and community initiatives.

Cigarettes are NOT available for sale on circuit.
There are shops/outlets located along Clarendon Street, St Kilda Road, Fitzroy Street or Armstrong Street.
CLOAKROOM / LOCKABLE STORAGE
There is NO cloak room or lockable storage facilities available to GA patrons. Paddock Club corporate suites have lockable storage units, for guests only.

Access to corporate facilities, from Friday to Sunday, is available from 10.30am to 7.30pm. Not all corporate facilities are open on Thursday, however those that are have the same opening and closing times.

Corporate patrons will be required to show their correct corporate wristband each day to access the shuttle service.
CORPORATE ALCOHOL/GLASS RESTRICTIONS
For safety reasons and in accordance with liquor licences, under no circumstance is any glassware (including bottles) to be taken from any corporate facility.
If a corporate patron wishes to leave a facility with a drink it must be transferred to a plastic drinking receptacle before the patron can exit.

DISNEY-PIXAR CARS JUNIOR GP CHALLENGE
The Disney-Pixar Cars Junior GP Challenge will take place down the main straight, on Sunday, March 17 from 12.00pm until 12.15pm.
The Challenge will consist of 10 very lucky 4 to 8 year olds, who won the opportunity to race the straight in Francesco Bernouli electric ride on cars, professionally outfitted in helmets and race suits.
DRIVING BUSINESS INDUSTRY EXHIBITION
Offering Victorian companies the opportunity to showcase Australian ingenuity and capabilities in design, engineering and manufacturing the exhibition is located in the Innovation and Industry precinct which forms part of Legends Lane.
DRIVING CAREERS, DRIVING SUCCESS – STUDENT SEMINARS
Heroes of the manufacturing and engineering field will deliver their individual success stories and talk about career progression and pathways to students. Session’s will be hosted across both Thursday and Friday and will last for approximately 60 minutes.

DRIVING LEARNING – EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation is driving the future with the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix’s education program, Driving Learning.
Set to encourage learning in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, this year’s event will focus predominantly on the technology surrounding STEM and STEM future innovation as well as showcasing the career paths and opportunities available.
All students can attend the Event on either Thursday or Friday for free as part of the program. Student event access is granted through Gate 2. Gate 2 also offers free parking for all school busses.
The program encompasses the activities occurring at the Driving Science, Driving the Future education expo and the Driving Careers, Driving Success student seminars both located in the Innovation and Industry precinct which forms part of Legends Lane.

There will be two F1 Driving Simulators at the event over the four days. One will be located in the Legends Lane whilst the other will be located in the Golf Course precinct. The F1 Driving Simulator gives patrons the experience of driving an F1 race car (user pays).
FIREWORKS AND FLARES
Fireworks and flares are not permitted to be brought into the Circuit and are illegal in Victoria. Any patrons observed with fireworks and flares are to be reported immediately to Event Control or Police on site.
FIRST AID – 8698 8222 (Event Control)
St John Ambulance Australia will operate four first aid facilities located around the circuit. Refer to the Circuit Map for a green square with a white “+” that designate first aid outlets.
These facilities will operate from 10.30am to 8pm on all event days.
An additional Medical Assistance Team will operate out of the First Aid Post behind the Prost Stand
St John Ambulance Survival Kits are available for purchase for $5 from roving St John vendors. The Kit includes Sunscreen, Ear plugs, Band aids and Paracetamol. Sunscreen is also available from Customer Service Booths.
FLAGS
Patrons may not bring to the circuit any flags or banners larger than 1 metre x 1 metre or with handles greater than 1 metre long.

Selected Formula One team flags can be purchased at selected merchandise outlets.
Race Flags – A number of flags are used around the circuit to warn drivers of track conditions, including:
- Yellow Flag – Indicates danger, such as a stranded car ahead, so drivers need to slow down.
- Red Flag – The session has been stopped, due to an accident or unsafe track conditions.
- Blue Flag –Warns the driver that he is about to be overtaken.
- Chequered Flag – Indicates to drivers that the session has ended.
FLAIR MOTO TRAILS
Located in Legends Lane the Freestyle Trials Show is an ALL new, high-action choreographed show, crossing the boundaries between Trials, BMX and Freestyle Moto-X. Showcasing Australia’s top Freestyle Trials Riders, FLAIR’s Show is a dynamic performance displaying Trials Motorcycles and Bicycles being pushed to their limits.

HELICOPTER SCENIC FLIGHTS
Get a breathtaking overview of the entire track and its surroundings.
Tickets are $90 per person and can be purchased from the helipad or at the Helicopter Scenic Flights ticket booth next to the Pontoon Bridge.
They do not take bookings, it’s a first come – first served arrangement. Operating times are 9am to 5pm for joy flights on each of the four days.
HERITAGE DAY
On this day in 1953, the first Australian Grand Prix was held at Albert Park. To celebrate the heritage of motor racing in the park, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation announced that FREE entry will be given to all General Admission patrons on Thursday 14 March 2013. As a result, day one of the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix has been renamed ‘Heritage Day’ for the occasion.
HIGHWIRE MOTORCYCLE
For the first time ever, race goers will experience the all new adrenaline rush of the High Wire Motorcycle Act in the Action Zone. Balanced 20 metres in the air, a dare devil motorcycle rider will take on the 200 metre long, high wire above Albert Park Lake while a trapeze artist dangles just below the wire performing aerial acrobatics. For daily performance times, please check the board displayed, or check for times at one of the many Customer Service Booths.
HOT LAPS
Hot laps of the circuit will be conducted by V8s, Historics and the swisse Two-Seater vehicles, primarily with prize winners/guests as passengers. These laps will be conducted outside of Gate Opening and Closing Hours.

The Main Straight Walk is only available to GP Advantage Ticketholders
The walk will commence at 9.30am on Sunday, March 17, and conclude at 10.30am sharp.
- Patrons must enter the circuit at either Gate 1, 8 or 10.
- Gates 1, 8 and 10 will open at 9am on Sunday for Main Straight Walk patrons ONLY.
- Patrons must be in possession of a GP Advantage ticket, OR valid circuit entry ticket, accompanied by the Main Straight Walk Pass.
- Meeting point is at the Southern end of Fangio Grandstand.
MELBOURNE SPORTS & AQUATIC CENTRE (MSAC)
Access and car parking at MSAC during the Grand Prix period (March 12 to March 18), will be via the multi deck car park, with entry and exit from Albert Road. Entry to the car park is restricted to members only. Pedestrian access into the facility will be via the Aquatic entry.

Headlining the off track entertainment program in the Action Zone, Nitro Circus Live will join the impressive entertainment line up for the 2013 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix. The much anticipated adrenaline addicted daily shows and Sunday’s ONE HOUR GRAND FINALE will showcase some of the world’s best action athletes as they push extreme sports to new limits.
The huge 24 metre high giganta ramp will launch skaters, BMX riders, skiers and skateboarders while world class Freestyle Motocross riders will put on an awesome display of tricks. Catch the greatest live action sports shows daily and don’t miss the one hour spectacular on Sunday following the F1 race.

Situated directly above the team garages, the Paddock Club is the most exclusive corporate facility.
The primary Paddock Club entrance is only available to the following:
- Paddock Club ticket holders
- AGPC Management credentials (blue)
- AGPC service credentials with the letters “PC” printed at the bottom of the credential pass.
The Southern entrance is primarily used by Corporate patrons wishing to access Pit Lane Walk sessions and the V8 Village area.
The Southern entrance should be utilised for credentialed personnel that require access to the Paddock Club to carry out works (a log will be kept).

DRINKING & FILMING REGULATIONS
Due to the proximity of the Formula One Paddock Club to the Pit Lane area, safety precautions require that drinks are not to be consumed along the window line, or from the rooftop viewing deck. Filming from the rooftop viewing deck is also prohibited.SMOKING
Smoking is completely banned in the Paddock Club suites at all times for both private and shared clients. Smoking will, however, be permitted in a designated area of the Paddock Club Entrance Lounge.CLOAK ROOM SERVICE
A limited cloaking service is available in the Paddock Club Entrance Lounge presented by Qantas. Please direct inquiries to the Qantas hosts in the Entrance Lounge. The AGPC or Qantas shall NOT be liable for any items left uncollected.LOCKABLE STORAGE
Each shared Paddock Club Suite provides a lockable storage unit for storage of client’s items. BICYCLE PARKING
Patrons with tickets are not permitted to bring bicycles into the event. Bicycle parking is available at Gates 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10, with a limited number of bicycle racks available. Patrons are encouraged to use a U-lock to secure their bicycles. The AGPC is NOT liable for any motorcycles or bicycles parked around the circuit.CORPORATE PATRONS
Corporate patrons are reminded that access for drop-offs and pick-ups in Canterbury Road and Albert Road on Saturday and Sunday is only possible if the vehicle is displaying a Grand Prix Local Access Pass. Event staff requiring vehicle parking must display a valid vehicle credential (in addition to their personal credential), which will permit access through the nominated gate, and into their relevant parking area. Vehicles not parked in correct areas will be towed to the Village Green Carpark (external to the circuit).Staff are not permitted to bring bicycles into the circuit, without prior written consent from the AGPC.

PARKOUR & FREE RUNNING DISPLAY
Brand new in 2013, Trace Elements are bringing Free Running and Parkour to the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix. On a custom built course in the Action Zone, the team will showcase their super athletic and acrobatic skills flipping, somersaulting and jumping their way around the course.

PASS OUTS
Pass-outs are available. Patrons leaving the circuit will receive a stamp on their hand. For re-entry on the same day, patrons will be required to produce their original ticket as well as the hand stamp to gain access. The stamps are color coded each day.

Late arrivals or patrons without Pit Lane Walk passes
will not be permitted to participate.The Formula One Pit Lane Walk assembly point is at the southern end of the Paddock Club (Pit Building –The only exception to this, is Thursday’s Behind the Scene Tour (9.45am), where patrons will enter through Pit Lane from the Northern end.
The V8 Supercar Pit Lane Walk assembly point is at the southern end of the V8 Pit Lane
Please note that no video, motion picture camera or sound recorder shall be permitted on the Pit Lane Walk.
PLASTIC WALLETS - LANYARDS
Plastic wallets will be available when requested from all customer service booths on the Thursday and Friday of the event for 4 day grandstand and 4 day general admission holders.
POLICE
There are two Police Stations/Lost and found outlets on circuit:
F1 Central
Golf CourseEach Police Station will be operational from 10.30am to 8pm each day of the event.
LOST AND FOUND
Any found items should be taken immediately, or as soon as practical, to the nearest Lost and Found outlet and registered with the appointed Police Officer. A Lost and Found Register will be maintained and all items must be signed in as they are received. Items not claimed after the event will be transferred to the South Melbourne Police Station, located at 211 Bank Street, South Melbourne.In the event of a child being reported lost by a parent or guardian, they should be directed immediately to the nearest Police command post. Similarly, if a lost child is taken into care by a staff member, they should be taken immediately to the nearest Police command post.
Where necessary, a PA announcement will be made and all operational personnel notified via two-way radio with a description of the missing child.
ILLEGAL MERCHANDISE
Patrons are not permitted to sell or distribute any product unless authorised by AGPC. Official merchandise outlets are located within the circuit - Any persons selling outside these locations, must be reported to Event Control as soon as possible.Similarly patrons are not permitted to distribute any promotional material or conduct surveys without AGPC permission. Activity such as this should also be reported to Event Control.

LOSS PREVENTION / THEFT
Although most fixtures are secured, some patrons will want event souvenirs and will go to great lengths to get them. Police, Security and Event Staff personnel will be briefed on this potential problem and must be mindful, especially at the conclusion of each day, of what patrons are carrying when leaving.During the Grand Prix on the Sunday, Security will roster additional anti-theft personnel in an effort to control or minimise theft and/or damage to property.
Items, such as flags, fuel drums and signs identifying the event, are hot targets for souvenir hunters, therefore staff rostered at gates and in Grandstand facilities where these items are on display will need to pay particular attention.
Staff members finding any unauthorised person suspected to be in possession of any stolen property should request they hand over or return all items. A receipt will be issued by security for each item collected and provided to the patron. Patrons can then attempt to retrieve the item/s, following the event, by contacting the Australian Grand Prix Corporation on 9258 7100. Refer to Security Briefing Notes – Surrendered Items.
Any person refusing to return stolen property should be brought to the immediate attention of the nearest Security or Police Officer.

PORSCHE CARRERA CUP
With a top speed close to 300 km/h, the lightweight, high performance 911 GT3 Cup cars will showcase a fast and exciting exhibition of speed on-track as they compete for Championship points across three races at Albert Park.
The Porsche Carrera Cup Support Paddock is located infield, behind Pete’s Bar.

As part of the event, a Go Sailing program will be run on Albert Park Lake. Aimed at giving everybody the opportunity to experience the fun of sailing, the program will be run by qualified and experienced Yachting Victoria instructors with the help of students. Open to patrons, the program will run on all four days of the event with Regatta Races on Saturday and Sunday (refer R – Regatta). To register to sail please see the booth located in the Action Zone.

SHANNONS HISTORIC DEMONSTRATION
Take a step back in time with the Shannons Historic Demonstration, celebrating Historic Motorsport. Up to 60 historic cars of all shapes and sizes will be on display and paraded around the circuit. Refer to official Race Schedule for track times.
The Shannons Historic Paddock, located south of the Pontoon, behind the Media Centre, also includes the Shannons Big Rig. Try your hand at the racing simulator, hit the web or take in the view from the second floor platform
SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited at all times in all areas of corporate facilities, including viewing platforms, enclosed areas and grandstands.
Smoking is also prohibited in the Media Centre and cafeteria, and on disability viewing platforms. Smoking is not permitted in any staff work areas including team garages, marshal tents and contractors compounds.
Smoking is permitted in general admission areas, other than:
- in enclosed areas or;
- outdoor drinking and dining areas, with roof and 75% wall area.
Cigarettes are not available for purchase on site.

Be prepared to witness the ultimate in human strength! Watch Australia’s strongest athletes compete against each other in automotive themed weight challenges. The main event on Sunday will see the Heavy Weights battle it out in a multi disciplined display of super human strength.

TRACK INVASION PLAN
A Track Invasion Plan has been developed to manage the authorised access of the track by spectators at the conclusion of the Formula One race on Sunday.
DURING THE EVENT
Police will apprehend and charge any unauthorised person/s who invade the track area during track activities over the four days of the Grand Prix.CONCLUSION OF THE FORMULA ONE RACE ON SUNDAY
With three laps remaining in the Formula One race, both South and North tunnels will be closed to all traffic by security personnel (Emergency vehicles may use in event of emergency).Security personnel will be deployed around the circuit to prevent unauthorised access to the track. In Pit Lane, security will be assisted by Police.
The public will be informed via GPTV, official programs, PA systems and signage, that they are NOT to enter the track at the completion of the Grand Prix, until the course car with the green lights flashing and siren sounding has passed their location. The course car will be clearly marked “Course Car” and fitted with a siren to be used during all opening and closing laps to assist the general public, police and security to identify the correct vehicle.

There are three (3) tunnels in operation at the event.
Vehicles using the tunnel system must travel in the direction indicated, unless authorised by AGPC, for the entire Event Period, Tuesday, March 12 to Monday, March 18.

The V8 Supercars will again be on-track across every day of the event in four races. This will be Melbourne’s first chance to see the introduction of Nissan and Mercedes-Benz to the V8 grid. .

WATER
Drinking water is available from permanent and temporary drinking fountains around Albert Park. Water can also be purchased from catering outlets in various locations around the site.
WET WEATHER
Umbrellas are not available at the circuit. Rain ponchos are available at most Official Merchandise Outlets, designated with a T-shirt symbol on the circuit maps.
WHEEL OF STEEL
The spectacular aerial acrobatics continue in the Action Zone with the all new Wheel of Steel. Prepare to be blown away by this amazing stunt featuring two athletic performers propelling two giant, rotating wheels at crazy speed while performing heart stopping tricks!
WRISTBANDS
Wristbands are issued to identify Corporate ticketholders. Wristbands are not issued to grandstand or general admission ticket holders. Corporate patrons with grandstand access can access their designated grandstand by presenting their corporate wristband.
