Driving Learning Registration Open

Following the success of the education program at this year’s Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix we are pleased to open registration for the 2013 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix’s education program, Driving Learning.

Set to encourage learning in the science, mathematics, engineering and technology (STEM) fields, the 2013 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix will focus predominantly on the technology and future innovation surrounding STEM as well as showcasing the career paths and opportunities available. Here is your chance to get captivated by the world of Formula 1® and by the technology that surrounds the sport.

In 2012 the Driving Science, Driving the Future education expo included exhibitors showcasing STEM technologies and included business and industry bodies such as Thales Vehicles, Defence Materiel Organisation and BAE. Captivating speakers hosted seminar sessions from the world of Formula 1® and commercial industry such as Holden engineers and designers.

The 2013 event is looking to go one better with exhibitors and key speakers specifically targeted to inspire our next generation on STEM pathways. Onsite will see the return of the Driving Science, Driving the Future education exhibition and Driving Careers, Driving Success student seminars and new for this year is a 12 month online teacher resource centre, Driving Education, available to teachers year round.
