Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali considers Red Bull duo Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel a joint threat for the Formula One title.
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso leads the Drivers' Championship by eight points heading into the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, but Domenicali said the fact that Red Bull have two drivers left in the title race gives them an edge.
"We need to be focused because they (Red Bull) are very strong and as I said before I want to congratulate with Red Bull because they deserve the (constructors) title, they did the best job of everyone," Domenicali said.
"They have already taken home one title and they will fight with both drivers for the second one so we need to consider that. For me it is great that we are there at the last race to fight with them, it's fantastic."
Domenicali said he always felt the title race would come down to the season finale.
"I have to be very honest with you, I was totally focused on the fact that the championship would have been finished in Abu Dhabi, I'm speaking for the drivers of course," he said.
"I was not convinced that the championship would have been finished by here because unless there was a problem with reliability we know Red Bull is very, very strong."
And according to the Ferrari boss, Saturday's qualifying is of equal importance to the race itself.
"We need to do a perfect qualifying, as you know that is very, very important, fundamental, and we need to do the best that we can," he said.
"We need to wait up until the last metre because reliability is a big point that everyone will be worried about, not on the engine, on everything, so that will be a very long race in Abu Dhabi."
