$50,000 in prize money, the world’s best FMX riders going head-to-head and some of the most innovative and progressive tricks the sport of FMX has ever seen. The inaugural Crusty Demons Cup at the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix will be the gnarliest action sports event in the history of the Crusty Demons.
Crusty Demons World Touring, in association with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, is thrilled to announce today that multiple X Games medalists Todd Potter (USA) and Thomas Pagés (FRA) will join three-time X Games Best Trick gold medalist Kyle Loza (USA) and the 2011 X Games Best Trick gold medalist Jackson Strong (AUS) at the 2012 event this March.
The Crusty Demons are renowned for making the impossible happen, stretching their limits and creating death-defying moments. Now, after many years of sold-out arena shows, the Crusty Demons have devised a brand new competition format to be launched over the four days of the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix. With a lineup that includes the best riders from around the world, this is going to be one FMX competition not to be missed.
Local Australian FMX athletes Kain Saul, Luke McNeil, Matthew McFerran, Robbie Marshall and Truman Carroll will join the international contingent. All nine riders will go head-to-head in a massive FMX battle for Best Trick, Best Whip and Best Combo categories and to take home a slice of the $50,000 prize pool and the honour of being crowned champion of the inaugural Crusty Demons Cup.
Joining these athletes at Sunday’s finale show will be the stunning Crusty Babes along with a fire, pyrotechnic and sound show that will leave the fiercest FMX fans on the planet amazed.
The Crusty Demons Cup promises to be four action-packed days of exciting entertainment and great value for money for kids and adults alike…and don’t forget kids under 12 go free.
