The famous heart throb of popular US TV series Gossip Girl, Ed Westwick will fly in to Australia this week to attend the 2011 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix.
Westwick is thrilled to be attending the four day event, saying “I’ve heard so much about the Grand Prix in Melbourne and I can’t wait to be part of all the action!”
Westwick doesn’t have to fake his charm playing character Chuck Bass, charisma comes naturally to the Brit who is worshipped by ladies all over the world and envied by lads.
“I love coming to Australia – last time I was in Melbourne I had a ball. I have family here and love getting the chance to spend time with them,” he said.
While in Melbourne, Westwick will attend the exclusive “GP@28‟ party on Thursday, 24 March at Crown Metropol as the guest of Australian Grand Prix ambassador Ashley Hart.
As for who he’ll be cheering on at the track, Westwick is tipped to support his fellow countrymen Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton who are racing for the McLaren team.
He may not be wearing his signature scarf to the Albert Park track, however stylish Westwick is still sure to impress crowds. As his character Chuck Bass would say “What goes on in Melbourne, stays in Melbourne.”
