The Australian Grand Prix Corporation is pleased to announce Ashley Hart as the ambassador of the 2011 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix.
The stunning Melbourne born and raised model is now based in New York but will be making a special trip home to take on the coveted Ambassador role with the Australian Grand Prix.
Hart will experience a taste of life in the fast lane with a ride in a 2-seater F1 car, hosting the super exclusive GP Party and welcoming international guests and celebrities.
“What appealed to me most about the role was the opportunity to represent Melbourne on a truly global stage. I am so proud of this city and all it has to offer – I want the whole world to know just what an incredible place it is,” said Hart.
The personable home grown beauty was discovered in 2007 and has never looked back. From the beginning of her career, Hart easily made a name for herself in both print and television, appearing in campaigns for Levis, Jeans West, Billabong and Rip Curl, in addition to becoming a favourite ‘Dealette’ on Channel 7’s Deal or No Deal.
Establishing a successful modelling career, she has since built a strong working relationship with major international brands throughout Europe, the US and Australia.
Hart’s naturally relaxed approach, bubbly personality, indisputable beauty and girl next door appeal, are only some of the key factors driving her on-going success.
“Ashley’s engaging and adventurous nature made her the perfect fit to showcase the event and Melbourne to the world,” said Andrew Westacott, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
“The second that you meet her you know that she has that “it” factor that is so rare. We couldn’t be more excited for Ashley to join the GP family.”
