Favourite part of Albert Park?
The first chicane is always difficult and unpredictable because it’s so bumpy under braking.
Favourite restaurant in Melbourne?
Every year I go to a Japanese restaurant called Koko in the Crown complex. The teriyaki chicken is very good.
Who do you think will be your biggest rival this season?
What is your favourite memory of the Australian Grand Prix?
I scored my first points there in 2001 with Sauber when I finished fourth. Also my second place in 2008 is a good memory.
What do you like about Aussie F1 fans?
It’s my favourite place to travel to on the calendar, largely because of the people. I really like the lifestyle and there is always a great atmosphere in the country when the race is on.
What is your favourite thing to do in Melbourne away from the track?
I like to walk around the city. I always go to Chapel Street to look around and do some shopping.
How do you feel about Australia being the first race of the season?It feels quite traditional because for most of my career the first race has usually been in Melbourne.
