Nico Rosberg from the Mercedes GP Formula One team was kind enough to answer some of our "hard hitting" questions, for our latest driver Question and Answer post.
What is your favourite part of the Albert Park circuit?
Nico: "My favourite part has to be the fast chicane at the back, it’s a great feeling to drive through there."
What is your favourite restaurant in Melbourne?
Nico: "The Stokehouse… without a doubt. The location and the food are fantastic."
What is the first thing you think of when you hear the words 'Australian Grand Prix'?
Nico: "Cool trip! I love visiting Australia and Melbourne is one of the most chilled-out cities on the calendar."
Who do you think will be your biggest rival this season?
Nico: "I would probably say Michael as your team-mate is the only one with the same equipment as you."
What is your favourite memory from the Australian Grand Prix?
Nico: "I would have to say the 2008 race when I finished on the podium in third place."
If you won the Australian Grand Prix how would you celebrate?
Nico: "A massive party with the team of course!"
What do you like about Aussie Formula 1 fans?
Nico: "They are so enthusiastic, It’s great to see fans like that and it makes the atmosphere around Albert Park over the race weekend so special."
What is your favourite thing to do in Melbourne away from the track?
Nico: "Chilling out in St Kilda in the evening."
If you could have any famous Australian presenting you with the winner's trophy at the end of the Australia Grand Prix, who would you pick and why?
Nico: "Alan Jones"
How do you feel about Australia being the first race of the season?
Nico: "Australia is a cool venue for the first race. Melbourne is such a great place to visit and there’s a real feeling of the paddock being a small community… particularly if the sun is shining and everyone is sitting outside."
