Ticket revenue goes to a great cause

A love of motorsport and being charitable go hand in hand this coming Friday!

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation, in conjunction with FoxTix, is excited to confirm that this Friday, 4 March, 50% of proceeds from all General Admission tickets sold to the 2011 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix (up to $25,000) will go to the event’s official charity – Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Westacott, said he is proud to make this announcement.

“This is the first time we have been able to make this kind of offer and it is thanks to the support of FoxTix. It is great to know that ticket revenue is going to a worthwhile cause,” he said.

Murdoch Childrens is the largest and most prestigious child health research organisation in Australia.
