Top Dogs: Who Will Win The F1 Fights This Year?

Part 1

“Rivalries in sport are awesome.”

That’s Mark Webber speaking, and he should know: he was involved in one of the most intense rivalries we have seen for the last few years during his great Formula 1 career at Red Bull.

Webber was looking back at the Prost v Senna days when McLaren’s ‘Dream Team’ turned nightmarish and the two great drivers lost their focus because all they could see was each other.

Pressure Off Ricciardo: Coulthard

Australian Red Bull rookie Daniel Ricciardo will be under little pressure this season despite driving alongside four-times Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel, according to former team racer David Coulthard.

Coulthard says Ricciardo, who moved from the uncompetitive sister Toro Rosso team at the end of last year to replace Mark Webber, is in an ideal position ahead of next month's Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.

“He’s had a great rise up to the point of driving for the world championship-winning team," Coulthard said.

Australian Grand Prix to feel the G-force

Georgia Geminder has today been announced as the Official Ambassador of the 2014 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.

Recently named in the Herald Sun’s annual New Year’s Day ‘Who to watch...’ feature, and with an overseas move imminent to take on the US modelling market, the flame-haired beauty is set to make her mark in 2014.

Geminder is no stranger to the spotlight coming from a family which is one of the largest private sources of philanthropy in Australia – her grandfather being prominent Melbourne businessman, the late Richard Pratt.
