Australian Daniel Ricciardo has been named the number one racing driver in the world by Autosport Magazine in its annual top 50 list.
Ricciardo, who finished third in the FIA Formula One World Championship™, winning three races throughout the season, pipped World Champion, Lewis Hamilton to take the top honours.
Last year’s number one driver, Sebastian Vettel dropped to 24th after a difficult season in which he failed to win a race for the first time since 2007, and was out-qualified by Ricciardo 12 times in 19 races.
