Sahara Force India unveils the VJM05 at Silverstone

Sahara Force India unveiled its 2012 challenger today as Paul Di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg pulled the covers off the VJM05 at Silverstone. They were joined by reserve driver, Jules Bianchi, as the team’s new car was presented for the first time.

The VJM05 is the second car to be created under the watch of Technical Director, Andrew Green, as the team seeks to build on its on its sixth place finish in the constructors’ championship and take the fight to the teams that lie ahead.

Murphy announced as Motorsport Ambassador

Four time Bathurst1000 winner Greg Murphy will be adding to his impressive motorsport résumé with his appointment as the official Motorsport Ambassador for the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix, announced today.

Circuit preparations have commenced in Albert Park ahead of the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix. Next time you are in town, stop and check it out!

The Chicane Pavilion on Turn 1 and Fangio Grandstand are the first facilities to be built and the first of the 11km of track barriers have been installed. Keep an eye out for the barriers on the back of our trucks from Altona... these are the first of 3000 round trips they will make in the lead up to the event!

Report Card - Marussia Virgin Racing Team

For 2011, Virgin paired regular driver Timo Glock with their reserve driver Jerome D’Amrosio who replaced Brazilian Lucas di Grassi from 2010

It is the second consecutive time for the team to finish last in the Constructors standings and must improve to confirm the teams future



Updates for Season 2012

Frenchman Charles Pic has been drafted into the team, who finished 4th in the GP2 Series with Spanish Barwa Addax Team, where drivers like Sergio Perez, Vitaly Petrov and Romain Grosjean cut their teeth
