Porsche Carrera Cup Australia

Australia’s fastest one-make series, Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, will once again bring its signature spectacle of close, intense racing to the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2019.

The series will again bring the spectacular 911 GT3 Cup car, with a field of more than 24 of the Stuttgart-built thoroughbreds set tackle the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit for Round 2 of the series.

Equipped with a 4.0-litre, rear-mounted engine producing 485hp, a mix of young guns, highly credentialed professional drivers and semi-professional racers will pilot the most powerful 911 GT3 Cup cars ever.

Among them may just be a Porsche star of the future. 2016 champion Matt Campbell progressed from the series to the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, and after a stellar year in the top-tier of Porsche one-make racing, has now embarked on an international GT career as a Porsche Young Professional.

This season, reigning Carrera Cup champion Jaxon Evans will himself make the move to following Formula 1® in Europe - in the 2019 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season.
