Sebastian Vettel fell 46 points short of a fifth world title in 2017, with rival Lewis Hamilton reigning supreme. The two clashed on several occasions, but the most famous incident came at Azerbaijan where contact between the two drivers’ vehicles saw tempers flare.

Fast, competitive and technical, Vettel has a quirky sense of humour and near-perfect grasp of English while adding his own version of Italian to his talents as he builds a strong relationship with the Scuderia and their fans.

Having swept to four successive drivers’ world titles and reset the record books as the youngest pole-sitter, race winner and champion in Formula 1® history, Vettel established his place among the greats before switching to Ferrari from Red Bull.

A third-place finish in the final race of the 2017 season at Abu Dhabi was Vettel’s 100th podium finish in his career. Another incredible statistic added to an already strong resume. Vettel and Ferrari are hoping 2018 can be the year a Drivers’ Championship comes out of the relationship.
