Tuesday 3 December 2019 marks 100 days to go until the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020, at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit from 12-15 March.

Over the past 24 years, there has been an estimated attendance of 7,755,200 at the international motorsport event in Melbourne.

The 2020 event sees two new support categories join the on-track schedule, with the all-new S5000 class and TCR Australia’s season-opening Asia Pacific Cup taking place at the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020.

With a ninth-place finish in the 2019 F1® Drivers’ Championship, Australian Daniel Ricciardo will be going into his second season with Renault next year and will be joined by a new teammate, Esteban Ocon.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation, General Manager – Motorsport, Entertainment & Industry, Craig Fletcher, is excited to be raising the bar for the overall event at the 25th race in Melbourne.

“There is only 100 days to go until the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020 and we can’t wait for our fans to see what the 25th race in Melbourne will have on offer,” Fletcher said.

“The 2019 Formula 1® season provided moments of triumph and thrills both on and off the track and we can’t wait to see what the season opener in Melbourne will bring as it sets the scene for another exciting Formula 1® season.”
