For the sixth year in a row, the Acland Street Village, along with Showcars Melbourne, hosted a Father’s Day Car and Bike Show.
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation supported the great local event by displaying a Formula 1® car and a MotoGP™ bike.
There was something for the whole family as the precinct was transformed into a sea of classic cars and bikes, as hundreds of pristine machines descended on the street for one day only.
With over 600 cars and 200 bikes on show, Mick Doohan’s MotoGP™ bike and the Formula 1® car were in good company, giving fans the chance to get up close to the Australian Grand Prix Corporation’s display.
Acland Street Village Precinct Coordinator, Olivia McLean, says the event has become renowned with the community.
“Going into its sixth year now, the Acland Street Village and Showcars Melbourne Father’s Day Car and Bike Show has become an iconic St Kilda event,” she said.
“It's a great family day and we were thrilled to have the Australian Grand Prix Corporation supporting our event.”
The event, supported by the City of Port Phillip, saw a record attendance of over 40,000 across the weekend.
