For the first time, Jaguar is bringing its Art of Performance Tour to the 2017 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix in the form of the Jaguar F-TYPE Supersprint on 23 – 26 March.
Jaguar Land Rover Australia Marketing Director, Kevin Nicholls, is delighted to be sharing the exhilarating new activation with fans during the event.
“Jaguar is a brand that proudly stands for performance, innovation and seductive design. The Jaguar F-TYPE Supersprint is the perfect opportunity for us to let Grand Prix attendees truly experience this first hand,” Nicholls said.
“The 2017 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix is the pinnacle of motorsport events in Australia, so there is no better setting to celebrate for Jaguar’s ‘Art of Performance’ than trackside, by the picturesque lake and palm trees at Albert Park.”
Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO, Andrew Westacott, is excited about the unique addition of the Jaguar F-TYPE Supersprint at the event.
“It’s not everyday fans have the chance to experience the ultimate thrill of being driven in a high-performance sports car,” Westacott said.
“The Jaguar F-TYPE is a powerful, agile car and will inevitably be a fan favourite at the scenic Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit.”
The Jaguar F-TYPE Supersprint will take place on a 560-metre lakeside driving course where a fleet of V6 and V8 powered F-TYPEs will be showcased at Aquatic Drive between Turns 5 and 6.
Fans over the age of 14 can book their free spot at the Jaguar F-TYPE Supersprint or the Jaguar vehicle display at the Champions Gateway precinct, and fans can walk to the Supersprint or use golf carts which will be chauffeuring patrons to and from Champions Gateway.
The F-TYPE Supersprint will complement a strong Jaguar brand presence at the event, including a display of F-TYPE, F-PACE, XE, XF and XJ models.
Rides in the Jaguar F-TYPE Supersprint are free to all event ticket holders on each day of the event, but seats are limited. So get to Aquatic Drive between turns 5 & 6 nice and early so you won’t miss out.
