German Kelvin van der Linde's visit Down Under has continued to be a masterful one after he scored an easy win in the third Shannons Australian GT race at the 2017 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
Once he moved to the front on lap four after dispensing with fellow Audi R8 driver Daniel Gaunt, van der Linde was in a class of his own around Albert Park as he powered to a seven-second victory.
Gaunt, despite some very close attention from Dave Russell (Lamborghini R-EX), held onto second position, with Ash Walsh (R8) fourth from Lewis Williamson (McLaren 650S GT3) and Dean Fiore (R8).
Van der Linde and Gaunt also claimed the quinella in Thursday's race one, while Russell and Walsh swapped third and fourth positions.
With the exception of a few drivers, the GT program at Albert Park is being shared between the 'professional' and 'gentlemen' drivers, with the latter to compete in the fourth and final race at 11:30am on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Cameron McConville (Lamborghini Hurracan) was seventh in race three, ahead of Steve Richards (BMW M6 GT3), Glen Wood (R-EZX) and Liam Talbot (Porsches 911 GTS-R).
