Your guide to Melbourne Walk at the AusGP

One of the fan highlights at the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2019 is the iconic Melbourne Walk.

Melbourne Walk gives F1® fans the chance to meet their heroes, with all drivers and teams walking down the famous strip on their way to the Formula 1® Paddock on each day of the event.

All event ticket holders can line the area where drivers stop for selfies and autographs, presenting fans with the opportunity to snare priceless Melbourne mementos.

There are also a range of viewing platforms, while DJs will play music as the AusGP Crew dish out giveaways in the always-popular area.

Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo will be a star attraction on Melbourne Walk, with the 29-year-old preparing for his first Formula 1® race since crossing from Red Bull to Renault.

Other drivers sure to be popular with fans are five-time world champion Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, who has won the world title on four occasions.

Hamilton and Vettel are tipped to fight it out for the 2019 world championship and you could greet them just hours before they begin their season.

All drivers and teams will pass through Melbourne Walk on all four days of the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2019.

So get there early and soak it up, with fans advised to be at Melbourne Walk from 10:00am-12:00pm on Thursday, 9:00am-11:00am Friday, 10:15am-12:00pm Saturday and 10:00am-12:30pm Sunday.

Melbourne Walk will also be recreated at the official Formula 1® Season Launch at Federation Square in Melbourne on Wednesday 13 March from 3:30pm.

The free public event will feature a live stage show and performances from popular local music acts.
