Australian Defence Force in the air

It’s no secret that a mutual passion for all things fast is something Royal Australian Air Force pilots and Formula 1® drivers share. This common love put on thrilling display at the Formula 1® 2019 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, with exhilarating aerial displays planned by military aircraft; courtesy of the Royal Australian Air Force.

An F/A-18F Super Hornet fast jet, a C-17A Globemaster as well as the Pilatus PC-9A “Roulettes” aerial display team geared up to stun and awe at the Grand Prix with their highly trained personnel and highly effective aircraft.
