Getting to and from the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit on public transport is easier than ever with extra services and more transport options giving you more choice to get to the track.
Travel is free on trams and trains between the city and Albert Park for valid ticket holders. Shuttle trams run frequently during peak times. If you have accessibility needs, Gates 1 and 5 are the recommended entry points.
There is strictly no public parking available at Albert Park Circuit, so please explore the transport options below to find the best way to get to the track.
TRAIN, TRAMS, AND BUS SERVICES
There will be extra tram services to get you to the track with high-frequency shuttle services running to the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix between Flinders Street Station, Southern Cross Station, Anzac Station, Flagstaff Station, and Albert Park.
Shuttle trams run frequently during peak times and are free with your Grand Prix ticket between the CBD and Albert Park on event days.
- Southern Cross Station: Catch the Spencer Street express tram to Gates 1 and 2.
- Flagstaff Station: Connect to the dedicated shuttle tram running to Gate 3.
- Flinders Street Station: Board St Kilda Road trams stopping at Gates 5, 8, 9, and 10.
- Anzac Station: Walk to Gate 5 (8-min) or board St Kilda Road trams stopping at Gates 8, 9 and 10.
Train Services & Metro Tunnel
Take advantage of Anzac Station on the Cranbourne, Pakenham, and Sunbury lines running directly through the Metro Tunnel. Use Exit 3 at Anzac Station, followed by an easy 8-minute walk to Gate 5. Train travel is free between State Library, Town Hall, and Anzac Station for event ticket holders.

Supervised valet bicycle parking compounds are available at Gate 5 and Gate 10.
