PROFESSIONAL HELICOPTER SERVICES (PHS)
Professional Helicopter Services operates the official Albert Park Helipad located near Gate 10. In addition to on-circuit scenic joy flights, PHS delivers private charter transfer flights connecting Moorabbin Airport directly to the Albert Park Circuit throughout the race weekend.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- A Joy Flight ticket is NOT an event ticket. A valid day-specific ticket to the FORMULA 1 MOËT & CHANDON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2027 is also required to gain access to the Joy Flights located within the grounds. E.g. a Saturday Joy Flight ticket requires a Saturday event ticket.
- Joy Flight tickets are a standalone experience operated by Professional Helicopter Services and are not offered or operated by American Express.
- Joy Flights operate Thursday between 10am - 5pm and Friday - Sunday between 9am - 5pm, weather permitting.
- Tickets are valid for one (1) Joy Flight per person and are valid strictly on the date you select at time of purchase.
- Present your Joy Flight ticket to the staff at the PHS Helipad to redeem.
- Flight routes are constant, flight times are approximate only and may vary according to helicopter type, number of passengers and/or weather conditions.
- Patrons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid Joy Flight ticket.
- Items larger than a handbag cannot be taken on the flight. Limited storage of larger bags is available at the helipad. PHS take no responsibility for patrons' items stored.
- Due to safety protocols there is no photography allowed on the helipad before boarding. Once in the aircraft mobile phones and small cameras are permitted.
- Tickets are redeemed on a first come first saved basis, no time allocations can be pre booked in advance.
- Please allow at least 30 - 60 minutes for safety briefing and manifesting to the aircraft, depending on demand. We recommend you attend the PHS Helipad one hour before you intend to fly.
- Tickets cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-refundable (Excluding weather events preventing flights) and not exchangeable.
