The FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2027 will take place from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 April 2027, with the dates confirmed as part of the official Formula 1® 2027 season calendar.
In a major first for Melbourne, the 2027 event will feature Australia’s first ever Formula 1 Sprint Race, with Sprint Qualifying taking place on Friday and the Sprint Race on Saturday, adding even more high-stakes action for fans across the race weekend.
The event will fall during Victorian school holidays, positioning the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix as the ultimate must-attend experience for families looking for mid-holiday excitement. For interstate visitors, the timing offers the perfect opportunity to plan a Melbourne getaway, combining the thrill of Formula 1 racing with the city’s renowned dining, culture and attractions.
Tickets for the FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2027 will go on sale from October, with a range of ticketing products available to suit every fan experience.
A range of pricing options will be available, with single day Park Passes (general admission) starting at just $45 for adults.

A key addition to the 2027 event will be the introduction of the Albert Park Circuit Club, a new membership program designed to guarantee members a ticket, earlier circuit access and a year-round connection.
The membership program is an additional option for fans, and standalone tickets to the event will remain available for purchase through other pre-sale and on sale periods.
Following another record-breaking year with an estimated attendance of 483,934 in 2026, the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix continues a run of unprecedented growth, cementing its place as one of the premier events on the global Formula 1 calendar.
