Demand was strong from racing teams and individuals who wanted to be at the podium end of events.

Development of the cars and power plants continued. Ford twin camshaft engines were fitted, giving the cars more power and better performance, and so the iconic design was born.

This replica was built in the United Kingdom, fitted with the Lotus twin cam engine, Hewland gearbox, dry sump, disk brakes all round and more refinements.

It was imported to the United States, where it spent most of its life, until sold at auction in 2017, purchased and imported to Australia by a Lotus enthusiast before finding another Aussie home.

The current owner is a veteran race driver who is looking forward to enjoying this beautiful car in competition.
