Live Fast at speeds of over 300 km/h

The Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022 will feature the world’s best and emerging drivers.

There will be over 22-hours of on-track action across the four days of the Melbourne Grand Prix. Headlined by the triumphant return of Formula 1® to the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit. Supercars will also take to the circuit as one of the support categories. The lineup will also showcase exotic and classic cars.

Formula 1®

Formula 1® is the world’s most prestigious motor racing competition and is the highest international racing class for open-wheel single-seater racing cars.

The series takes place worldwide on purpose-built circuits and street circuits like Albert Park. Ten teams and 20 drivers have wheel-to-wheel battles with the ultimate goal of taking out the FIA Formula One World Championship™ title.

Supercars Beaurepaires Melbourne 400

Supercars is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia’s biggest sports. Globally, it is recognised as the best touring car category in the world and a leader in motorsport entertainment.

Supercars have raced for championship points at the Melbourne Grand Prix since 2018.

S5000

The hotly anticipated S5000 support category features a 5-litre V8 engine, the thundering cars can reach speeds of up to 300kph, making the S5000 Australia’s fastest national race category and a must-see spectacle.

The S5000 grid is expected to feature some of Australia’s best grassroots talent, alongside well-known racing legends and the possibility of international participation.

Porsche Carrera Cup

The Carrera Cup is the premier one-make championship in Australia, with drivers competing in identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race cars. The new 992 generation 911 GT3 Cup car will make its Australian debut in the Carrera Cup in 2022.

The series races across the country at the biggest motorsport events in Australasia, including the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022.
