Together, we are racing towards a brighter future, where every turn brings us closer to innovation and a community that embraces diversity. Let’s accelerate change, one lap at a time.
Environmental Sustainability
At AGPC, we approach sustainability with an innovative mindset, recognising that every detail matters and that there is always more impact to achieve. Our goal is to ensure world-class motorsport delivers real-world sustainability. Our Environmental Sustainability programs and initiatives are focused on key areas; greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), energy management and waste management.
Creating an event that is welcoming, accessible and inclusive is central to the Grand Prix experience. Through a range of programs and inclusive experiences, we look to break down barriers to participation, inspire future talent and celebrate diverse voices. More than a race, the Grand Prix brings people together through shared experiences that are designed to be inclusive and extend beyond the track.
Our Environmental Sustainability programs and initiatives are focused around three key areas.
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
GHG emissions management focuses on measuring, tracking, and reducing (where feasible) emissions across operations and the broader value chain. Targeted initiatives prioritise high-impact reduction opportunities and low-carbon solutions to drive measurable emissions reductions over time. This is supported by robust data collection, emissions inventories, and reporting processes to ensure transparency and meet regulatory and industry requirements.

Energy Management
Energy management at AGPC’s Formula 1 events focuses on continuously improving energy efficiency through detailed energy audits, benchmarking, and reduction plans, including optimising generator use and increasing reliance on grid electricity procured from 100% Certified Green Power.
This is supported by the adoption of low-emissions energy solutions such as hydrogen-powered generators and HVO renewable diesel, alongside requirements for contractors to provide detailed energy specifications to enable efficient planning and reduced overall energy demand.
Waste Management
Waste management at AGPC’s Formula 1 events focuses on reducing landfill through waste audits, material analysis, and circular design across event operations. This is supported by recycling, organics programs, and container deposit schemes to improve resource recovery and minimise waste.

Social Impact
More than a race, shaped by people.
Social impact is core to how we deliver the Grand Prix, creating experiences where more people can take part, feel welcome and find connection. From inclusive event design to community programs and pathways for future talent, we use our platform to bring people together in ways that last beyond race week.
We design initiatives that support inclusive participation, strengthen community connection, create pathways for learning and opportunity, and remain responsive so we can adapt to the needs of our community.
