Race Officials

Every Race Official plays a vital role

With over 1,000 volunteer Race Officials at the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix each year, every Race Official plays a vital role and without them, the event would not function.

Becoming a Race Official at the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix is the best way to get up close to the action at the biggest motorsport event in the country. Officials have a front-row view of all the on-track action while carrying out various roles, such as Flag Marshals, Communications, and Track Marshals.

If you are a new Race Official, you will be teamed up with more experienced Race Officials who will offer support and guidance to you in conducting your important role.

The training and experience you gain from volunteering at the FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 will assist you in developing a career as a volunteer Race Official. We guarantee you will end up developing friendships with other Race Officials and more than likely continue doing other motorsport events around Australia.

Each volunteer Race Official is provided with two guest passes that allow access to the circuit for all four days of the event, to be shared with your family and friends. One guest is also granted access to the Thank You BBQ held for all Race Officials on Sunday evening following the race.
