The ‘Pete Sherman Special’ was assembled from a McLaren M8E chassis and a shortened M8F body.
It raced in the Can-Am Series in 1972/73.
Powered by an 8.3 litre Aluminium Chevrolet engine, the car has phenomenal straight-line performance and has been racing in historic events for many years around the world.
