Night owls rejoice! Once the sun goes down, the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022 is set to come alive as part of the brand-new GP After Dark experience.
With a new April timeslot, the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022 will fall outside daylight savings, meaning the on-track action will finish a little earlier than in previous years. In order to celebrate Melbourne’s status as a cultural mecca and offer fans new and exciting experiences, the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit’s M-Lane precinct will transform into an evening music and food festival for the first time in the event’s history.

Kicking off on Thursday 7 April, GP After Dark will reignite Melbourne’s street eats scene, featuring some of the city’s best restaurants, refreshing cocktails and of course live music, with the AusGP Session stage to feature a different blockbuster artist each night - with performances from Bliss n Eso, Peking Duk, The Rubens, Big Twisty & The Funknasty and many more.
Those interested in pairing great music with great food are in luck, with delicious delicacies from renowned restaurants including Pinchy’s, 400 Gradi, Zero Gradi, Wonderpies, Wingsters, Sliders on Tyres and St Gerry’s.
Crowds will be able to enjoy the outdoor festival vibe at pop-up cocktail bars across GP After Dark, including exclusive activations from Idle Hour vodka, Red Bull and Patient Wolf gin.
On top of that, there are a range of non-alcoholic options such as Two Boys Brew kombucha and St Ali coffee.
