Saturday, 7 February 2026
Rita Ora, Duke Dumont, and Basement Jaxx will lead a massive weekend of live music at Albert Park as part of the refreshed festival program.
International stars Rita Ora, Duke Dumont and Basement Jaxx (DJ Set) are set to headline the Lakeside Festival Presented by American Express at the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026. As the live music hub within the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit, the festival is accessible to all ticket holders, including Park Pass and grandstand spectators.
Travis Auld, Australian Grand Prix Corporation Chief Executive Officer, says the festival is the perfect way to cap off the racing. “Lakeside Festival Presented by American Express will be an incredible way to wrap up each day at Albert Park. Celebrating with international and Australian icons after a full day of on-track action — it truly doesn’t get better than that.”

The entertainment kicks off on Friday, 6 March, with English electronic duo Basement Jaxx bringing their high-energy DJ set to the Main Stage. The Grammy Award-winning pair will be supported by in-demand Australian DJ dameeeela.
Saturday, 7 March will see global superstar Rita Ora take over the stage. The British singer-songwriter, who has amassed over 10 billion global streams, is eager to soak up the atmosphere of the paddock. “Formula 1® is pure chaos in the best way," says Ora. "There’s nothing like performing with that kind of energy around you and I can’t wait!”
Supporting Ora on Saturday is the iconic Australian band Rogue Traders. Fronted by Natalie Bassingthwaighte, the band is thrilled to be playing on home soil. “The only thing better than the Grand Prix, is the Grand Prix in Melbourne," says the band's James Ash. "We are beyond excited to take the stage and rock the house to its foundations.”
Closing out the weekend on Sunday, 8 March, is DJ and producer Duke Dumont. Known for chart-topping hits like "Need U (100%)", Dumont will be preceded by Melbourne’s own multi-platinum duo SHOUSE, performing their ‘Collective Ecstasy’ live show featuring over a dozen vocalists.
The expanded partnership with American Express will also introduce new premium viewing options for fans. Naysla Edwards, American Express Vice President of Brand, Customer Marketing and Member Experience, notes the addition of a new three-storey Amex Lakeside Terrace and an exclusive viewing area at the front of the stage for Card Members.
