Josh Gibson and Kris Smith join the ambassador lineup for the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022

Former Rugby League player turned presenter and model, Kris Smith, and three-time AFL Premiership winner and dual Peter Crimmins medalist, Josh Gibson, have joined the ambassador ranks of the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022.
Kris and Josh join the ambassador team, alongside Kate Reid and Jakara Anthony, bringing an exciting mix of fashion, food and sporting prowess to the April event.

Understanding first-hand the thrill of major events and fan anticipation, Kris and Josh are set to bring their chic style lakeside, as fans flock to see Formula 1® return to the Albert Park Grand Prix™ Circuit.
Kris, with his style prowess and position as co-host of the exclusive fashion celebration - Glamour on the Grid, will highlight the luxury and modern design often associated with Formula 1®.
Josh will also continue his long-standing support for the official charity partner of the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix 2022, My Room, as they look to raise funds for families impacted by childhood cancer.
“I’m really excited to be an ambassador for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix as it finally makes its return to Melbourne. There’s no doubt Melbourne is the sporting capital of Australia, with the big three events in our calendar; AFL Grand Final, Australian Open and the Formula 1. Melbourne comes alive during these four days,” said Josh Gibson
“I’m really excited to see the new cars in the flesh. And it’s fair to say, no one would’ve predicted how the first two rounds have panned out already. Bring on Melbourne!”
Kris Smith is looking forward to also being apart of the Formula 1® Heineken® Australian Grand Prix.
“After three years since lights out, it is so amazing having the Grand Prix back in Melbourne. I’m beyond excited to be an ambassador this year and see the teams race around the streets of the sporting capital of Australia,” he said.
