Jack Doohan has announced that he will be driving for the Virtuosi Racing team in the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship™️.
The Australian will be racing alongside Japanese racer Marino Sato who made the switch from Trident. Virtuosi Racing finished second in the team standings in 2021, with Guanyu Zhou finishing third in the drivers’ championship.
Winning four races and taking a further three podiums from seven rounds, Doohan narrowly missed out on the F3® title to Dennis Hauger while leading Trident to Teams’ Championship success.
Doohan won’t start the season with no experience. He took part in the final two rounds of the 2021 season, where he achieved a top-five finish and second in Qualifying.
I’m very pleased and excited to join forces with Virtuosi Racing for our 2022 FIA Formula 2 campaign
