When is the British Grand Prix?

Round 10 of the 2021 F1® season takes place on Sunday 18th July at the Silverstone Circuit, Britain.

Practice begins on Friday 16th July with FP1 and Qualifying, followed by FP2 and Sprint Qualifying on Saturday 17th July.


What time does the British Grand Prix start?

The 2021 British GP starts at 3:00 pm local time on Sunday 18th July, which is 12:00 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday 19th July.

The AEST for each session in Britain is as follows:

  • Practice 1: Friday 11:30pm-12:30am AEST
  • Qualifying: Saturday 3:00am-4:00am AEST
  • Practice 2: Saturday 9:00pm-10:00pm AEST
  • Sprint Qualifying: Sunday 1:30am-2:00am AEST
  • Race: Monday 12:00am AEST
