Daniel Ricciardo has unveiled a special edition helmet design ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. The artwork is entirely hand-painted, features the vibrant “McLaren Orange” and a traditional McLaren Cars logo.
The McLaren Cars logo and kiwi displayed on the helmet link back to 1964. An artist named Michael Turner designed the original emblem for the Bruce McLaren Motor Racing Team. The kiwi that it features is a homage to Bruce’s home of New Zealand.
