When do tickets go on sale?

Joy Flight tickets for the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026 go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, at 12:00 pm (AEST).

The Amex Pre-sale begins on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, at 12:00 pm (AEST) and ends Friday, 5 September 2025, at 12:00 pm (AEST).

How do I participate in the American Express® Pre-Sale?

The American Express® Pre-Sale begins on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, at 12:00 pm (AEST) and ends Friday, 5 September 2025, at 12:00 pm (AEST).

The pre-sale is available exclusively to all new and existing American Express® Card Members with tickets subject to availability.

The following ticket types are included in the Amex Pre-Sale:

  • Park Pass
  • All grandstands
  • Selected hospitality products

What are the terms and conditions
  • Present your ticket to the staff at PHS Helipad to redeem your Joy Flight
  • Flight routes are constant, flight times are approximate only and may vary according to helicopter type, number of passengers and/or weather conditions.
  • Tickets cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-refundable and not exchangeable.
  • Tickets are redeemed on a first come first saved basis, no time allocations can be pre booked in advance.
  • Please allow at least 30 - 60 minutes for safety briefing and manifesting to the aircraft, depending on demand. We recommend your attend the PHS Helipad one hour before you intend to fly.
  • Patrons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid Joy Flight ticket.
  • Items larger than a handbag cannot be taken on the flight.
