There has been an unprecedented level of demand for tickets in the pre-sale period for the FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024, resulting in some event tickets now being made available via unauthorised sellers at inflated prices.

Major Events Act 2009
Under the Major Events Act 2009 (Vic), it is illegal for a ticket to this event to be resold, or offered or advertised for resale, for more than 10% above the face value purchase price of the ticket unless the seller is authorised in writing by the event organiser.
Breaching this Act can result in heavy fines of up to $110,952 for an individual and $554,760 for a company.
Purchasing a ticket from an unauthorised seller can result in the ticket holder being denied entry to the event.
