Grandstand seating update for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2022

Wednesday, 1 December 2021

New grandstands coming soon.

Demand for tickets during pre-sale for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2022 has exceeded all expectations.

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) wants to ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to experience a race weekend and have already commenced work on the release of a series of brand-new grandstand seating options.

Scheduled for release ahead of the 2022 event, the newly built grandstands are being constructed to accommodate as many fans as possible and cope with the increased demand for seating.

Confirmation of the positioning of the new grandstands and their on-sale date will be shared in due course.

Fans without tickets are reminded that there will still be plenty of availability for both Friday and Saturday tickets in most grandstands when tickets are made available to the public on Thursday, 2 December 2021 (10:00 am AEDT).

Park Passes (GA) will also be available to the public this coming Thursday, 2 December 2021 (10:00 am AEDT).

One final reminder to please purchase your tickets through official ticketing channels. We are aware of some event tickets now being made available via unauthorised sellers at inflated prices. For a full list of authorised ticket sellers, click here.

We can’t wait to welcome fans back to Albert Park when F1® returns to Melbourne in 2022.
