The first driver to achieve back-to-back Sir Jack Brabham Awards, Piastri has already experienced a wave of success as he quickly shot up the junior single-seat competition ranks. Claiming titles over three consecutive years, Piastri caught the attention of multiple Formula 1® teams as he took out the 2021 Formula 2® Championship by more than 50 points, the Formula 3® title in 2020 and a 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup victory.
Piastri’s F2® victory was made even sweeter as he became just the third rookie driver to achieve the championship, following the likes of Charles Leclerc and George Russell.
